Charge Controller Box with lid removed.

This box has 2 connections to the outside world. One is a DB 25 and the other is a DB9. The DB 9 goes no where, that is the wires that come out of it go back into it. This leads me to believe that this port is for programming. There are 5 sets of wires that come together at the DB25 connector. One is from the Filter Current Sense box(6 wires), and carries charge voltage, and mV from the current sense. A second set of wires comes from vehicle chassis 12 volts (12 volts and vehicle ground). The third set of wires, 8 wires goes to the paddle recepticle. The forth is 2 twisted pair, white in color that go to??? and the 5th is ???
